Terms
These terms apply to every order placed on this site. The Delivery, Returns and Privacy pages form part of them. Nothing in these terms takes away the rights the law gives you as a consumer.

The prints
Every print is made to order, unframed, in the size (A4, A3 or A2) and colourway you choose from the catalogue, and printed by our print partner in the UK on the paper described on each product page. Colours on screen are a guide; the printed colours are those of the paper and inks described there. We hold no stock: your print is made after you pay.
Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling and are the total price payable for the print. Delivery is charged separately, at one flat rate per order, and is shown before you pay. Payment is taken in full when you order, on Stripe's hosted checkout page; we never see your card details. Stripe emails you a receipt.
We take care over prices, but if we find that a print was priced wrongly when you ordered, we will tell you before it is made and give you the choice of paying the correct price or cancelling for a full refund.
Your order
Your order is an offer to buy. Stripe's receipt confirms that we have your payment, not that we have accepted your order. We accept it, and a contract is formed, when we pass your order to our printer and printing begins. If we cannot accept it, for example because a print has been withdrawn, we will tell you by email and refund you in full.
Delivery
We deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom only, for a flat charge of £4.95 per order. Printed within 3 working days, then 2 to 3 working days by post. These are estimates, not guarantees, but if your print has not arrived within 30 days of your order you can cancel and we will refund you in full.
If you order more than one print, they may be made and posted separately and arrive on different days. If a parcel does not arrive when you expect it, email us with your order number and we will trace it; if it is lost, we will send a replacement or refund you.
The print is our responsibility until it is delivered to you, or to someone you have asked to receive it. From then on it is yours to look after.
Cancellation and returns
You have 14 days, starting the day after your print arrives, to cancel for any reason, and further rights if a print is damaged or faulty. The Returns page explains both, including how to cancel, who pays return postage, and how refunds are made.
The images
The photographs and designs are the copyright of Tim Sandall and East Coast Creative. Buying a print gives you the print to hang and enjoy, not the right to copy, reproduce, sell or publish the image.
Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits your legal rights as a consumer, including your right to a print that matches its description and is of satisfactory quality, and your right to cancel. We do not exclude or limit our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
If we break these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our doing so, but not for loss that neither of us could have foreseen when you ordered. We sell prints for domestic and private use and are not responsible for any business loss.
Complaints
If something is wrong, email anne-marie@holdthehorizon.com with your order number and we will do our best to put it right. We are a small business and handle complaints ourselves, by email. We are not required to use an alternative dispute resolution scheme and do not belong to one. If we cannot resolve a complaint between us, we will say so in our reply and tell you about any dispute resolution arrangement that is available to you.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute about them or about your order can be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland you may also bring proceedings in the Scottish courts, and if you live in Northern Ireland, in the courts of Northern Ireland.
We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are the ones on this page when you place it.
